Currently service and interaction design lead at Fjord West.
I weave empathetic research, design thinking, & a business mindset, to support businesses and non-profits to create better customer experiences & innovation strategies. I’m profoundly motivated by working with emerging technology & media, developing tools for design justice, and incorporating foresight to design alternate futures to the challenging wicked problems we face. Previously I’ve worked for, at, and with great designers, studios, and initiatives including Frog Design, Unicef, Hello Ruby, Continuum, GSMA, Ernst & Young, & many others.
I share resources in a Speculative Design Community called Agreeable Futures, & I am the Local Leader of the IXDA - Interaction Design Association Chapter in Los Angeles. I was previously contributing to the social innovation projects at MENA Design Research Center and building the design week themes & programs at Beirut Design Week.
